About 6 servings:
– 50 dag of lentils
– 1 large onion, diced
– 3-4 cloves of garlic
– 2 bay leaves
– tomato sauce
– 1/4 cup of oil
– salt, pepper, ground cumin, wine vinegar
Clean the lentils and rinse with water. We put it in a pot with boiled water. Boil for about 3 minutes, then strain. Place the oil in a saucepan, heat and brown the chopped onion. We add chopped garlic, tomato sauce (not much to color), lentils and other ingredients. We pour water. We simmer for 30 minutes, until tender.
We refill water if necessary.
You can eat this dish with the addition of feta and bread.
